As a Jr. Java Developer, your role will involve leading and contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications and systems. You will be responsible for creating efficient, scalable, and high-quality code that aligns with business requirements and industry best practices. Your expertise in Java programming, software architecture, and team leadership will be instrumental in delivering robust and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Software Development: Lead the design and development of Java-based applications, modules, and services. Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following Java best practices and design patterns.

2. System Architecture: Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to system design. Define software components and interactions to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.

3. Code Review and Quality Assurance: Review code written by other developers to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain codebase quality.

4. Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize Java code for efficiency and speed. Conduct profiling and analysis to improve application performance and response times.

5. Integration and APIs: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and web services. Collaborate with frontend developers and other teams to ensure smooth data flow and integration between different components of the system.

6. Database Management: Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity. Implement database migrations and handle data modeling tasks.

7. Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests, integration tests, and perform debugging to ensure the reliability and robustness of the codebase. Automate testing processes to maintain code integrity during continuous integration and deployment.

8. Security and Data Protection: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent potential vulnerabilities. Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate security risks.

9. Version Control and Collaboration: Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage the codebase and collaborate effectively with other developers. Contribute to codebase documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

10. Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative and innovative development culture. Act as a subject matter expert on Java and related technologies.
