As a Supply Chain Analytics Specialist, your role will focus on leveraging data analytics and insights to optimize supply chain operations. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting supply chain data to drive informed decision-making and process improvements. Your expertise in data analysis, supply chain management, and problem-solving will be essential in enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring smooth logistics and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and consolidate supply chain data from various sources, including ERP systems, suppliers, and logistics providers. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

2. Demand Forecasting and Planning: Utilize historical data and statistical models to forecast demand for products and materials. Collaborate with demand planning teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.

3. Inventory Management: Analyze inventory data to optimize stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and improve inventory turnover. Implement inventory optimization techniques and safety stock strategies.

4. Supplier Performance Evaluation: Evaluate supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, lead time, and quality. Identify areas for supplier improvement and cost savings.

5. Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis of supply chain activities, including transportation, warehousing, and procurement. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend cost-effective solutions.

6. Process Optimization: Analyze supply chain processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Propose process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce cycle times.

7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain, such as disruptions in the supply of materials or transportation delays. Develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of operations.

8. Performance Dashboards and Reporting: Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports to provide insights into supply chain metrics and KPIs. Present data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and management.

9. Collaborative Decision-Making: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and manufacturing, to align supply chain strategies with business goals and objectives.

10. Supply Chain Analytics Tools: Utilize data analytics tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI) to manipulate and visualize data. Leverage advanced analytics techniques, such as machine learning and predictive modeling, to enhance supply chain insights.

11. Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate supply chain performance. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices to optimize supply chain processes.

12. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with relevant supply chain regulations and industry standards. Stay informed about changing regulations and their impact on supply chain operations.
